Sr. High Youth Group

Sunday, Oct 11, 4:30pm

The Murray Presbyterian Church youth group will be going to a concert at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church on October 11th.  Two contemporary Christian bands--"Avalon" and "Selah"--will be performing.

We will be going out for pizza before we go to the concert.  Please meet at the church at 4:30 so we can drive together to the Plattsmouth Pizza Hut.  This will be fun way for our youth group to kick off the year!

If you are interested in going, please let pastor Jeff know today.

Update on Rally Sunday

Everyone had a wonderful time at Rally Sunday on September 13th. The kids enjoyed popcorn, a prince and princess bounce house and lots of tattoos during the Sunday School hour. The newly formed children's choir, Wonders of Worship (WOW!), sang "This Little Light of Mine" during the worship service. Everyone enjoyed pizza and more bouncing after the service. Thanks to all who made the start of the new Sunday School year a big success!!

American Cancer Society Awareness: October

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Signs and symptoms of breast cancer:

Although widespread use of screening mammograms has increased the number of breast cancers found before they cause any symptoms, some breast cancers are not found by mammogram, either because the test was not done or because, even under ideal conditions, mammograms do not find every breast cancer.

The most common sign of breast cancer is a new lump or mass. A lump that is painless, hard, and has uneven edges is more likely to be cancer. But some cancers are tender, soft, and rounded. So it's important to have anything unusual checked by a doctor.

Other signs of breast cancer include the following:
