OF CONFESSION (Unison): Merciful God, whose love for us far exceeds our
greatest response to you; we confess to you our sin. We are a wayward people, filled with doubt
and self-love. We have broken your
commandments, disobeyed your laws, and have wandered from the life you intend
for us. Forgive our sin. Renew in us the desire to know you, to love
you, and to serve you that we may find the joy and wonder you intend for our
lives. In Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.
